Clémence Seilles is able to creates fantasy out of real life and with OXYDO she developed wearable sculpture.

Clémence sees herself as a producer, often calling upon her artist friends for their know how and expertise to build from art saloon to swimming pools. Her works has been exhibited in France, England, Italy, Germany and United States.
“Working with Oxydo brought my interest to another sphere: I discovered the benefits of collaborating with experts to develop specific products. I found that my process was not limited, but rather supported when working together to achieve the product that we want. I’ve been interested in sunglasses for some time, collecting them, wearing them and even producing a limited series of hand-crafted frames. I think sunglasses are objects that offer a lot of freedom and humor in expressing your personality, as essentially they are masks.”
Seilles is inspired by the architecture of the Seventies and realizes for Oxydo a collection of bold, colorful acetate patterns and surprising sunglasses with a hint of irony. These glasses are evidently made by an industrial designer who worked as if she had modeled a sculpture or an architectural work. Moreover, round glasses and sunglasses are vintage accessories par excellence, worn by the most beloved stars in the world, accessories that have become the emblem of the ’70s and’ 80s.
