Henry Cuir bags are born from the creative mind and manual skill of Henri Beguelin, founder of the brand. He considers himself more of an artist than a designer and wants to be recognized above all for the craftsmanship of his products, for those emotions that only manual workmanship can give to an object, a bag, an accessory. He became a shoe craftsman by chance. He was a professional football player and one day the handles of his sports bag broke. He went to a saddler to have it fixed. The saddler gave him a handful of scraps of leather and a few weeks later Henry went back to the saddler to be taught how to do it. His first sewing of a leather bag was perfect and from that moment his life changed.
