HOMO FABER – Guido Marchesini + Walter Marin

GUIDO MARCHESINI

Homo faber, Guido Marchesini is a young sculptor-designer using different materials, including recycled ones, to create works that integrate into the context with extreme harmony. His sculptures are the result of a reflection on himself, on others, on society, on nature, on the world. A multifaceted artist who uses different materials and tools such as: earth, wood, iron, plastic, computer, camera, video camera and multimedia technologies. His sculptural works tell the deepest aspects of the human soul, becoming in some way its symbol/representation.

Guido Marchesini was born in 1975 in Treviso. He graduated from the local Art High School and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice with maestro Tramontin. He specializes in Art and Drawing at the Polytechnic of Milan at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, until obtaining a degree in New Technologies for the Arts. From 1999 to 2000 he lived in New York, collaborating with Galamander Press. Since 2005 he has held the chair of Plastic Disciplines at the Liceo Artistico of Treviso. He is present with exhibitions, symposia and works in Italian and foreign museums.
